How do the days just fly by. February the month of love is here. Let's go back and see what happened in January. I went to a baby shower. I have known him since he was 14 yrs old and now at 27, David and Melanie Jennings, any day now, they are having a little girl Sophie Irene Jennings. This is the quilt I made for Sophie.
It has Butterfly's in the center of each block.
I loved how it turned out it was awesome.
Then at the end of January my Dad turned 87 yrs young and I made him this quilt.
My goodness I have not been on my blogg since Halloween and NOW IT's CHRISTMAS and what have I done "Not much". Tried to catch up on sewing my xmas gifts before going on holiday trip, didn't get everything done, I guess gift cards again.
My quilter is on the outs again, still waiting on parts. Maybe Santa will bring me a new one!
Look what showed up early! Santa Hubby was too nice this year.
What is your favorite movies for Halloween. Now I'm not a favorite of scray movies like Halloween 1,2,3,4,5,6,ect...., Friday the 13th.
I like ( since I get scared easly); Hocus Pocus: Max hates Halloween, but when he accidentally resurrects three evil witches, he, with the help of his little sister, his new crush, and an adorable black cat, must save the town.
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Halloween and Christmas clash in this stop motion animated musical. When the Halloween Town pumpkin king stumbles upon Christmas Town, he tries to get his town to celebrate the Christmas holiday as well – but things don’t go as planned.
The Haunted Mansion: EddieMurphy stars as Jim Evers, a workaholic real estate agent who cuts his family vacation short to work on a business deal. He drags his family to the Gracey Manor where they discover that the mansion is haunted and houses the answer to a very important mystery. The Evers’ form a stronger bond as a family while trying to escape.
All time Favorite!!! It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: Linus spends the night in a pumpkin patch in hopes of spotting the Great Pumpkin in this classic children’s film: “Tonight the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch. He flies through the air and brings toys to all the children of the world.” Meanwhile Charlie Brown is invited to his first Halloween party and the rest of Peanuts gang celebrate the spooky holiday!
And Don't forget this one, Beetlejuice: A ghost couple who will do anything to get the newly moved in family out of their house. When their haunting doesn’t work, they enlist the help of Beetlejuice to scare them away.
It's been a while since I have sat down and just found some time to blog. I can't beleive how long it's been. I got a job in September at the Middle School to be an Education Assistant, so I have been rearranging my schedule on how I use to do things. The school is off for fall break for 2 weeks. My Mom and Dad took my 12yr old son to Idaho, to go huntting and fishing with his uncle. But my 16 yr old did not get off the 2 weeks for fall break, his on a different schedule, so I'm staying over at mom and dad's house to stay with him while he goes to school. Now that I've caught ya'll up, lets get to what's exciting.

The Passing Of Steve Jobs is real hard. He helped shape a generation and helped our generation buy, share and listen to music. Bringing the Macs, Ipods, Iphones, Ipads, and the software we use into our hands. The newest Tech that I personally use, but Thank Him for all of those things and PIXAR. For helping fund Pixar, and believing anything is Possible. Thank You So much Steve Jobs From All of us at MADD HATTER STUDIOS.

Mom would make them and then send the tops to Texas to have her cousin Margie quilt
Mom would go to Texas to vist Margie. All they would do is sit there for hours, days just making quilts.
A lot of the quilts are applique.
