Thankful Thursday's

A lot to be thankful for today. I finished another quilt!

            This one is called My Little Buckaroo 

    This is the back of the quilt. I love the way it turned out.

I know just the little boy that will love to have this.  His name is Logan. He just came into this world a month ago. I still have to find a cowboy book to go with it.
All my quilts will have books with them. I know everyone has done this before curl up and read a good book.

Busy moving everything down to my shop I'll be opening up Monday. I'm going to teach classes to anyone that wants to learn how to quilt. I loved learning from my mom and her cousin on how to quilt years ago, now it's time to past that knowledge on to someone else. I hoping to teach young kids and teens that need to find out that there is still beautiful things in this world and quilting is a very big part of it.

Fast Friday

Well today went by so fast. Posted on "Can I Get A Whoop! Whoop!" Finally finished my mom's quilt.

Then canned 28 jars of peaches all day. Mom and I pealed,cooked and canned.

Can't wait to enjoy!

Thankful Thursday's

Well it's another HOT DAY in Tennessee!




This is what it really felt like yesterday!!!!

I should have a quilt done by tomorrow, you can see it on;





It is a quilt that my mom made. It takes longer to quilt since she makes queen size quilts. I love the colors though. I have 2 more queen size quilts of hers to quilt and one jelly roll quilt I made her. Then I have a few for me to quilt. Boy it would be nice to have a quilting machine that went a little faster then my small one.

HINT! HINT! Mom if your reading this.
This next week it should be easier to get some quilts done with both boys in school and no one to bother me at home. That's my Monday to do list!
